Rangat, Aug 09: Hundreds of people today under the banner of Middle Andaman Development Committee organized a protest at Rangat Bazaar infront of the AC office to press several demands. Some of the demands were to revote quarry permit, better medical facilities, permanent DEO and faster and better work for upgration of National Highways. Several shops of Rangat area were kept closed in support of this protest.
