Port Blair, August 7: Under the scheme of Government of India, Nehru Yuva Kendra observed Swcachhata Pakhwara from 1st August to 15th August 2019 in a befitting manner. The main objective of this programme is to intensive cleanliness & hygiene campaign undertaken by youths of various youth clubs of Campbell Bay. This programme is organised jointly by Nehru Yuva Kendra and Andaman Sheekha, a leading newspaper of Andaman Nicobar islands.
Today painting competition organised at G Middle School Govind Nagar and 17 students participated. Earlier swachata drive and sanghosti were organised at govt. Middle school Govind Nagar, Campbell bay By NYK and Andaman sheekha. Beside it, Mrs Mamta GTT maths ( teacher in charge) administered the oath to youth along with the staff. while Mr Rahul Singh, Reporter of Andaman Sheekha, Campbell Bay also addressed the youth. Another programme of cleanliness also organised. In this programme around 50 youths were participated and clean the school campus of Govind Nagar.
