Port Blair, Jun 26: The PRI members and parents of Tushnabad area have expressed serious concerns over unwanted delay in completing the renovation works of GSSS Tushnabad.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha some PRI members of the region said that the works for renovation school building was awarded to a private firm on 21 March 2018. As per the orders the contractor was supposed to complete the works within three months but till now the work has not been completed.
Parents fear that from July 01, the school will be reopened after summer vacation and such incomplete works might result in major accidents involving students.
The Pradhan of Tushnabad told to Andaman Sheekha that if the pending works are not completed within this month the PRI members and Parents will stage agitation in front of Tushnabad School.
