Diglipur, July 11: A man today tried set his wife on fire near fish market at Diglipur today. The person namely Barun Sikdar who is an auto driver by profession is a resident of Subhashgram called his wife for negotiation at Diglpur bazaar today. Barun Sikdar and his wife were not staying together, it is learnt.
She reached bazaar along with her kid and both had tea at Diglipur bazaar and went upto old fish market.
At about 11.15 AM after some arguments the person poured petrol on her and set her on fire. She was immediately rushed to CHC Diglipur where she is said to out of danger. Later her statement was recorded by Magistrate.
The PS Diglipur registered
the matter and investigating further.
