Diglipur, Mar 22: In a major breakthrough, the Diglipur Police have arrested three accused persons namely (1) Sanjeeb Halder, S/o SukranjanHalder (39) yrs R/o Subashgram, Ward No. 6 Diglipur, (2) Kamal Ram S/o Panda Ram (28) yrs R/o Sitanagar, ward No-2, Sitanagar, (3) S.C Ommier S/o S.S. Chinnaiah (26) yrs R/o Sitanagar, Diglipur for committing a burglary of cash amount of ` 6,12,000/- and gold ornaments, i.e 02 Nos. golden Chain weighing about 08 grams each, 03 pairs of ear rings total weighing about 05 grams and 02 Nos. Finger rings total weighing about 05 grams and the total is 41 grams worth about ` 85,000/- from the house of a businessman and the owner of hardware shop namely Pritima Enterprises at Subash Bazaar Diglipur.
On 15.03.17 a complaint of burglary for the aforesaid amount of cash and gold ornaments was lodged at PS Diglipur by Shri Mohim Kr. Das, the owner of a hardware shop namely Pritima Enterprises at Subash Bazaar Diglipur.
Acting upon the above complaint, a Police team of PS Diglipur, consisting of SI V.P Mishra SHO PS Diglipur alongwith PSI Jishi George, HC/557 Raghu Kujur, PC/1316 Akash Ch. Bepari, PC/178 Ripan Mondal, PC/3013 Rahil Rojmina Bage and HG/508 Marikani under the supervision of SDPO Diglipur Sukant S. Ballabh rushed to the spot and started investigation of the case. During the course of investigation, whole stolen money and gold ornaments have been recovered from the possession of aforesaid 03 accused persons and they have been arrested. Further the investigation of the case is in progress.
