Diglipur, June 16: Andaman Sheekha on June 01 reported poor state of a Public Park at Diglipur.
The report had mentioned that the public park of Diglipur behind the Samiti Shopping Complex which was actually constructed for the amusement of people of the area, is used as makeshift kitchen for the marriage ceremonies held at adjacent Panchayat Samiti Hall.
Sources said that when this matter raised with the Pradhan said that she had no records of the land of park so the Tehsildar Diglipur issued No Objection for development of Children park on land bearing survey No 176/p area 0.0690 Hect recorded as Govt Revenue Land in Form ‘AM’ as Park.
The Asst Commissioner, Diglipur Shri A K Trivedi today issued a letter to Pradhan Diglipur and asked her to “take necessary action for the development of the park immediately to enable the children and senior citizens to use the facility”
