Mayabunder, Jan 22: As part of the ongoing Coast Guard week celebrations to commemorate 39th Coast Guard Raising day, Indian Coast Guard station Mayabunder in coordination with College & Schools in and around Mayabunder is conducting Coast Guard awareness campaign for various schools & college students.
The Coast Guard officials from Coast Guard station Mayabunder delivered lectures at MGG College & Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School respectively on 20 & 21 Jan 15 in coordination with Principal, Staff and students.
The staff and students were enlightened on the organisation of Indian Coast Guard, various charter duties of Coast Guard, importance of Coastal security and also briefed the students about various entries/ selection procedure for joining Indian Coast Guard.
