Port Blair, Jan 22: The four categories of Part time teachers, pre primary ayas etc have met the PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma being mentally disturbed with the signal of Dy Director (perl) Education received by their respective schools and sought help from him.
Accordingly Kuldeep has written a letter to the Lt Governor, AN Islands wherein he has submitted that vide signal number 7423 dt 26.12.14, the Dy Director (Perl), Education department has asked detailed service reports etc of the daily rated mazdoors etc from all the Principals, DEOs and DDOs under AN Administration whereas the details of the Part time employees of 08 categories viz Part time teachers, Pre primary Part Time teachers, craft instructors, sweeper cum mali, sweeper cum chowkidar, Part time attenders etc have not been called for when they have served the AN Administration for more than 05 years to 25 years and who are now shifted to 04 categories viz Pre primary teachers, pre primary ayas and Part time attenders on DRM basis and craft instructors by the Education department.
This information has brought havoc in the mind of all these 08 categories of employees as to whether again they will be unemployed in these hard days and how they will survive. Accordingly Kuldeep has requested the Administrator to look into the matter sympathetically and bring them also under the category of daily rated mazdoor as per the policy of the Administration so that the future of these poor employees are saved and they don’t loose their employment in these hard days and unemployment problem does not enhanced further.
