Port Blair, Jan 28: The Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP), Bangladesh, an inter governmental organisation in collaboration with National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, (NIRDPR) Hyderabadorganised International Training Programme on Sustainable Rural Livelihoods from 5th to 14th January 2015. Shri K Venkatesan, Assistant Professor & HOD, Dept. of Homescience attended the training. Altogether 16 Participants from 10 CIRDAP Member Countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Fiji, India, Laos PDR, Myanmar, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam participated in the training. The presentation for India was made by Shri K Venkatesan, in front of the august gathering.
