Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 17: The Directorate of Disaster Management successfully facilitated the live streaming of the 79th Independence Day celebrations held at the historic Netaji Stadium. The event, which was telecasted in real time from the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), allowed students from various schools of Sri Vijaya Puram to witness the grand occasion in a theatre mode.
The live stream captured the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, the Parade Bhaju Shastra, Pared Nirikshan, presentation of medals, awards etc and the address by the Lieutenant Governor.
