Diglipur, Dec 24: Following the trend of Kingfisher Airlines, the management of CHC Kishorinagar has blocked payment of all the staffs of the hospital, forcing all of them to starve, even in this festival season.
Now, Mr. Anil Mondal, Zilla Parishad member of Kishorinagar Constituency and other PRI members of the area have threatened to go for hunger strike if salaries of all the Staffs, working in CHC Kishorinagar are not paid within December 2012.
In a letter addressed to Lt. Governor of A & N Islands, Mr. Mondal stated that from the last seven month w.e.f June to December, 2012, salaries have not been paid to all the staffs of CHC Kishorinagar, for which they are facing financial problems.
It is worth mentioning here that CHC Kishorinagar has been leased out to a private party, under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode, a deal which has not backfired.
In his letter, Mr. Mondal added that in case, the matter is not solve without stipulated time, the public of Kishorinagar and Paschimsagar Panchayat will go for agitation and hunger strike.
