Port Blair, Nov 18: CPI(M) Andaman & Nicobar State Organizing Committee in its meeting held on 5th November, 2022 at Port Blair had decided that a delegation from the Party should meet the Lt. Governor, A & N Islands and place before him the two resolutions adopted by the Party demanding (1) CBI investigation into the sex-for-job scandal involving the former Chief Secretary, other officers and businessmen and (2) large scale corruption in the islands and siphoning off of a large amount of money to mainland. Accordingly, CPI (M) has sought an appointment with the Lt. Governor and is waiting for his response.
