Port Blair, Jan 02: The Andaman & Nicobar Chess Association on Saturday reached a milestone with the inauguration of its office at Junglighat here. It was formally inaugurated by Mr. TSG Bhasker, Patron, Andaman and Nicobar Chess Association.
The objective behind formation of the office is to provide a place for youngsters to practice chess and exchange knowledge and information with the enthusiasts of sports. Mr. Bhasker expressed hope that the A&N Chess Association will move forward and function efficiently through the office. He thanked all the pioneers of A&N Chess Association for their relentless efforts and commitment to promote chess in these islands.
