Port Blair, Jan 02: A delegation of ABVP met Dr. Gurmeet Singh (Vice Chancellor, Pondicherry University). The delegation highlighted the problems pertaining to students and also discussed the educational Scenario of A&N Islands to its depths.
The delegation demanded to open PG courses for the Historical Studies, Economics, Tamil, Mathematics, Zoology, Physics & Physical Education at JNRM College.
The present scenarios of education in Andaman & Nicobar Islands were also discussed in this meeting. Problems pertaining to affiliation of DBRAIT & Increasing the number of seats in the training Colleges like TGCE & Dr. S.Radhakrishnan District Institute of Education and Training were also discussed.
