Port Blair, March 02: The OFC laying ship has completed submarine OFC laying work at Car Nicobar few days back. Today the cable works for Car Nicobar to Kamorta was made ready and it is reported that the ship will not head for Kamorta Island and lay OFC cable upto Kamorta Island.
Andaman Sheekha has exclusive photographs of Cable laying work of at Car Nicobar Islands. According to reports large number of people are reaching to the cable landing site to see the OFC cable. However, it is believe that fast internet at Car Nicobar might take some more time to become reality as the building for connection of the cable is not ready yet. Meanwhile, people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands are really excited to see the speed of OFC laying works in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, which will certainly chance the future of Andaman once fast internet becomes a reality in these Far Flung Islands.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that the cable laying work or may be the fast internet project will be inaugurated by the President of India himself during his forthcoming visit form probable date 28, March 2020.
