Port Blair, June 23: The Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat in collaboration with Voice of compassion to India (NGO), Rangat celebrated International Day of Yoga and organized District Youth Convention on 21/06/2019 at Zilla Parisad Auditorium Rangat. In this programme near about 132 youths from different Youth clubs participated. On this occasion Shri. C.A. Majeed, Assistant Conservator of Forest, Rangat, Middle Andaman as the resource person honored Shri. Sanjoy Biswas, Teacher and yoga guru by giving shoal to him. Shri. B. Devraj, Chaiman, VCI, NGO, Rangat, Shri.Dilip Chander Baroi, Health educator, CHC, Rangat and Fr.Albinus Barla, St. Francis Xavier Church, Rangat etc. were the main resource person for this occasion. Earlier Shri.Alphonce Toppo, District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat welcomed the resource persons and other dignitaries and detailed about the programme.
After the inaugural function yoga as per common yoga protocol was performed by the participants under the guidance of Shri Sanjoy Biswas, Teacher and Yoga Guru. In the convention Speechs were delivered by the resource persons on the different topic Prime Minister financial scheme , Alcoholism and drug abuse, Life skill education and skill India, PMKVY, Skill Development , Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan, Environment and Forest
Shri. Sanjoy Biswas, Yoga Guru, Billground also taught the gathering about the value of the yoga and urged all participants to do the yoga on regular basis for their fitness and healthy life. At last Shri.Alphonce Toppo, District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat also gave the vote of thanks.
