Port Blair, June 23: Indiatourism Port Blair, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India hosted an Workshop on Classification /Approval Of Hotels, Incredible India Bed & Breakfast, Home-Stay Establishments, Guest Houses, Restaurants And Travel Trade of Andaman & Nicobar Islands at Megapode Resort on 22nd June, 2019 (Saturday) at 1500hrs. The workshop was conducted to create awareness regarding registration policies of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and was chaired as well as presented by Shri Sagnik Chowdhury, Dy. Director General /Regional Director (East), INDIATOURISM KOLKATA, Ministry of Tourism alongwith his officials. The entire tourism fraternity of the islands were invited for becoming registered organization of Ministry of Tourism. The invitees were extended with questionnaire session pertaining to every details for registration. An open platform was built for discussion on upcoming tourism polices and development / improvement of tourism in islands.
