Port Blair, Mar 25: In an unusual development the team of PS Pahargaon has registered a case against parents of a minor girl, who was beaten inhumanly for some reasons, by the parents.
According to details the parents living in Dollygunj area, had actually approached PS Pahargaon to lodge complaint against a boy who, as per their allegation, took her daughter out yesterday night, for which their daughter reached home late from tuition. The parents were demanding POCSO case against the boy and had trained the girl to report against the boy. But during counseling by independent team of NGO, it was found that there was no such matter and the girl was forced to give false statement against the boy in police station.
Later when the police team found several injury marks all over the body of the girl and inquired about it, the girl revealed that she was beaten inhumanly by her parents. Based on this a case was registered against the parents under 75 JJ Act. Further details are awaited.
