Port Blair, March 25: On 20/03/2018 police team consisting of HC/664 Pradeep Singh, CT/672 Domnic, CT/239 Sanjay Mondal and CT/158 Rajesh Lakra, PC/2090 Tarapado Mondal and PC/2190 Aggasi Clinton while on night picketing duty near Nimbutala Junction at about 0300 hrs intercepted a Maruti Swift car bearing registration No. AN 01 K 7808 approaching towards Rangat and on checking recovered 32 Nos. bottles of 750 ML, IMFL from the possession of the driver B. Babu Kuttan, S/o late N. Balakrishnan, (50) yrs. Pvt. worker, R/o Puranathana, Rangat, as he was transporting the afore said huge quantity of IMFL without any valid permit/license. The recovered IMFL alongwith car has been seized and arrested the above accused. Upon this a case U/s 32 Reg. III of 1876 has been registered at PS Rangat and being investigated.
