Diglipur, Sep 24: Directorate of Shipping Services silently started boats to Diglipur from Saturday 23rd Sept.
The boats were suspended from 23rd July this year due to unavailability of boats.
These boats were very much helpful for the passengers specially patients who are referred to Port Blair.
Ladies and children will be happy with these sailings as they unable to travel in Andaman Trunk Road though old junk buses who were forced to take the 10–12 hour long road journey to Port Blair.
As per the shipping notification the next boat MV Strait Island will sail to Diglipur on 25th Sep via Mayabunder at 7 am and return sailing will be on next day 7 am.
This is a Tentative Sailing Programme subjected to weather conditions and may change at Short Notice.
