Mayabunder, Mar 10: International Women’s Day was celebrated at Mayabunder by Association of Catholic, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Around 250 women attended the function.
A peaceful rally was organized by Association of Catholic from APWD Guest house to Catholic Church, Mayabunder followed by a cultural programme in the supervision of Father Johnson and Father Lawerence (Vice principal of St. Zavier School, Mayabunder).
The chief guest of the function was Dr. Jameela, CMO, RP Hospital and other officials also witnessed the function. The CMO addressed the gathering and she extended her warm greetings and good wishes to the women of Mayabunder region and thanked them for their contributions over the years for their hard work and dedication in the society.
