Port Blair, Sept 9: On 30.08.16, SI Abdul Rehman, SHO PS Baratang alongwith PC/Stephan Cephas and G.Joga Rao of PS Baratang while on checking duty at Nilambur Jetty, Baratang recovered 15 Nos. 750ml IMFL bottles from the possession of one Susanto Sarkar S/o Dhiren Sarkar (38 yrs) R/o Hathi Level, Diglipur. The aforesaid person was arrested after observing all codal formalities from the spot under Regulation III of 1876 for carrying the aforesaid quantity of IMFL without any license/permit and a case has been registered at PS Baratang. People have been advised to refrain from such activities and also to inform nearest Police Station if such activities are noticed by them.
