Port Blair, Oct 14: Acting on credible information, a Police party of PS Pahargaon raided a gambling den near Lal Bar & Restaurant on Tuesday and arrested five persons namely Sathya Narayan (32) yrs, R/o Calicut, Ronald Manohar Salins (37) yrs, R/o Prothrapur, B.Ganesh (29) yrs, R/o Brookshabad, Samanthi Lall (23) yrs, R/o Prothrapur and Alex Rajesh (30) yrs, R/o Prothrapur and recovered Rs. 4770/- cash on personal search including board money Rs. 26,470/- and other incriminating articles. All the accused have been booked under A & N Islands Gambling Regulation, 1956 at PS Pahargaon.
