Port Blair, Oct 14: The A&N Islands Khadi & Village Industries Board will be organizing an awareness campaign-cum-people education programmes on Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme of KVIC (PMEGP scheme) and other Govt. sponsored self employment schemes in association with Industries, AH&VS, Agriculture, Fisheries, NYKS, Banks & PRIs at the Community hall, Gram Panchayat, Chouldari on Oct 15, 2015 at 10 am and at the Community hall, Gram Panchayat, Beodnabad on Oct 15 at 3 pm. The main objective of the programme is to disseminate information to the participants about the role of A&NI KVIB and other Govt. Departments like Directorate of Industries, Agriculture, Fisheries, AH&VS, NYKS and other agencies towards Rural Industrialization through setting up of microenterprises / Individual units / self employment venture duly availed finance under PMEGP and other Govt. sponsored schemes.
