Port Blair, Sept 10: A Plan provision exists in the current financial year for providing Grant-in-aid to the Cultural Organizations of A & N Islands working for the promotion of Art & Culture. The Department has issued press release in this regard earlier and in response to the same, few cultural organizations working for the promotion of art and culture in the South Andaman District have only applied.
The Department of Art and culture has once again invited application from the cultural organizations of North & Middle Andaman and Nicobar District for the Grant-in-aid from the Department. Application in plain paper may be submitted to the Director (Art & Culture), Cellular Jail Complex, Port Blair on or before 28th September, 2015 along with audited statement for the year 2014-15, Annual Report 2014-15 and Utilization Certificate in GFR-19A for previous grants, if any.
