Port Blair, Aug 14: The Adhyaksha, South Andaman Zilla Parishad, Ms V K Mariyam Bibi, inaugurated a Youth Club-cum-Anganwadi Centre at Kanyapuram, Ward no. 2 on Friday. The Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Ms Rashmi Krishnan, Pradhan, Wimberlygunj, Smt Jyothi Kindo, ZIlla Parishad Member, Mannarghat, Mr Deva Kumar and other PRI members were present on the occasion.
In her address, Ms Mariyam, said that the Youth Club and Anganwadi will cater to the needs of small children and the youth of Kanyapuram and adjoining areas. The rural people expressed their gratitude to the Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad for fulfilling the long pending demand.
