Port Blair, July 28: To enrol the left-out population of the respective tehsils, mop-up rounds of Aadhaar Enrolment are being conducted at all the Tehsil HQ since July 10, 2015. The residents who could not get themselves enrolled during the intensive round of enrolment have been appealed to get enrolled during the mop-up round at Tehsil (HQ) by 31st July, 2015. To cover the left-out population of Port Blair urban area and Port Blair Tehsil, an enrolment centre is set up at Directorate of CS&CA, Port Blair which will continue till July 31, 2015.
The residents who have been enrolled but their Aadhaar have not been generated due to rejection of data, may get themselves re-enrolled at the enrolment centres after confirming their status from the official portal of UIDAI (resident.uidai.net.in) on their own or from the Planning Section of the Directorate of CS & CA. Those who have lost EID Slip may contact the Planning Section of the Department of CS&CA to track their EID-UID information through the Admin Portal of UIDAI.
The people living at outer islands may get their demographic information like name, date of birth, address, pin code etc registered at the Tehsil (HQ)/respective supply units. Enrolment for such residents who are made to re-enroll will continue beyond July 31, 2015 at these stations and continue till August 31, 2015. The residents who have already enrolled but have not received their Aadhaar cards, have been asked not to reenrol unless and until Aadhaar status is confirmed from the e-aadhaar portal of UIDAI www.eaadhaar.gov.in.
