Port Blair, Nov 02: A retirement farewell was arranged at the Office of the Deputy Education Officer, Mayabunder to bid adieu to Shri. Sudhangsu Hira, Headmaster (Primary), Govt. Primary School, Tugapur-7. He joined the department as PST on 06.09.1975 and retired as Headmaster after putting a service of more than 29 years.
He was a very sincere and dedicated teacher. While sharing his experience, he urged all teachers to commit themselves for the welfare of the children. Shri. Mammen Thaomas, DEO, Mayabunder and all Heads of Schools of this Zone attended the function. With all the good wishes Deputy Education Officer handed over the Cheque for his retirement benefit.
