Sri Vijaya Puram, June 03: Following a grievance raised by Mr. Manojit Halder, Pradhan of GP Harinagar, to Mr. Sushant Padha (IAS), Deputy Commissioner of North & Middle Andaman, immediate action was taken on 3rd June to address critical infrastructure issues in the area. Under the clear direction of the Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Rohit Joshi, Project Manager of Bullar Construction, conducted a site visit to the Harinagar area to inspect and resolve the severe drainage blockages causing distress to local residents along the NH-4 highway.
During the inspection—conducted alongside Pradhan Mr. Manojit Halder and Up-Pradhan Mrs. Mamta Biswas—the Project Manager confirmed that the drain clearance work would commence today to provide swift relief to the community under GP Harinagar. Taking advantage of the site visit, the Panchayat leadership also highlighted the highly dilapidated condition of the NH-4 stretch passing through Harinagar and strongly urged for immediate pothole repairs. The Project Manager assured the leaders that road repair works would be initiated within one week.
Concluding the visit, the Pradhan and Up-Pradhan extended their sincere gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Sushant Padha (IAS), for his prompt intervention and swift response to the Panchayat’s grievances
