Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 02: As part of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative and as per directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, the Foundation Day of States of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and the Union Territories of Chandigarh, Delhi, Lakshadweep, Puducherry and A&N Islands was celebrated enthusiastically yesterday in Raj Niwas. Persons hailing from Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and the Union Territories of Delhi, Lakshadweep, Puducherry and A & N Islands participated in the function. During the event, an interaction and experience sharing session was also conducted. The function ended with high tea, group photograph and presentation of mementos to invitees.
The participants thanked MHA, Govt. of India and Raj Niwas for the initiative and in providing them opportunities and platform for interaction.
