Port Blair, Dec 30: The NGO, Pankh celebrated New Year’s eve with children of Balika Niketan on Wednesday. The event started with a cake cutting ceremony and refreshments were distributed to the inmates. The NGO also provided stationary and books to the Book Bank of Balika Biketan which was inaugurated a month ago by Mr Suneel Anchipaka, District Commissioner of South Andaman and Mr Hari Kallikat, ADM, South Andaman in the presence of Smt Komal Anand, President Pankh, NGO and Secretary, Geeta Naveen Bhat and members Shukla Chowdary and Suchitra Mehashwari.
