Port Blair, Sept 15: The Botanical Survey of India, Andaman & Nicobar Regional Centre, Haddo, organized celebration of Hindi fortnight from 01.09.2021 to 15.09.2021 and Hindi Diwas on 14.09.2021. The function was begun with lightening of lamp by Joint Director & Head, Dr. Lal Ji Singh. On his presidential address he emphasized upon the Rajbhasa Hindi and requested for official work as well as daily conversation with constitutional honor.
Various competitions (Essay writing and speech competition) for Hindi & non-Hindi persons were conducted to mark the celebration of Hindi Diwas on 14.09.2021. On this occasion a seminar on the topic “Hindi Bharat Ke Hridaya Ki Vani Hai (Hindi is the voice of the heart of India)” was organized. During this the results of the competitions and felicitation of the winners was declared.
