Port Blair, Sept 15: As a part of celebration of 4th Poshan Maah, PHC Billiground with the collaboration of Anganwadi Centers conducted awareness programme on 15th Sept 2021 at AWC Jaipur.
On the commencement of programme, Mr. Surinder Singh welcomed the gathering and detailed on the importance of celebration of Poshan Maah.
After that Dr Suryakant Singh, Medical Officer Ayurveda spoke on importance of nutrition for healthy life and the complications arises due to malnutrition.
He also spoke on Dincharya, Ritucharya, Sadvrit and appealed to the participants to enhance the traditional food and local fruit in your daily meal. Then Ayurvedic medicine kit (Shishu ka Saathi) distributed to the Anganwari centres falls under jurisdiction of Nimbudera Sub Centre. Also immunity booster tablets (Samsamani vati) distributed to all participants. The programme ended with vote of thanks and light refreshments.
