Port Blair, Sept 15: The Anthropological Survey of India, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Andaman and Nicobar Regional Centre, Port Blair celebrated Hindi Diwas on 14th September, 2021 in the Conference hall of AnSI, ANRC Port Blair. Prof. Vyasmani Tripathi, Professor, Hindi Department, JNRM Port Blair was inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Smt. Kalpana Verma, Hindi Translator, Audit Office, Port Blair gave a talk on ‘Technololgy and Hindi learning’. Dr. Uttam Singh, Research Officer & Officer-in-Charge, Clinical Research Unit, Port Blair gave a special talk on ‘Mental health during ‘COVID 19 and Role of Homeopathy.
Various competitions aimed to motivate and promote Rajbhasha Hindi in official use, were organized during the Hindi Pakhwada which was celebrated from September 07 – September 21, 2021. Results for the competition were announced and cash prizes ware distributed to the best performers.
On this occasion a special exhibition on “ Hindi Book” ALSO organized in the Library of AnSI. Dr. Nilanjan Khatua, Head of Office, AnSI, ANRC requested the officials to use Hindi as much as possible for official purpose. Miss Rakhi Kumari, Research Associate (Linguistics) organized the whole programme and delivered the vote of thanks.
