Port Blair, Mar 25: A mass tree plantation was done by Forest Extension and Publicity Division Haddo at Rangachang School, in connection with celebrating International Day of Forests. DFO Mr. Ayub Hassan, IFS, addressed the students and explained the importance to forest.
A small nursery was prepared there and Mr. P Kuriyakose, Forest Ranger explained the students about nursery techniques and practical demonstration was given to students and teachers.
Mr. A K Tiwari, Principal also address the gathering. Documentary films on forests was screened to students and teachers.
