Port Blair, Oct 12: In a small event, PBGKR felicitated the unsung heroes working as Doctors, Nurses, Asha Workers , Anganwadi workers, ANMs and Tagore College.
Shri Suneel Anchipaka , Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman was the Chief Guest and Mr. Yash Chaudhary,ADM ,SA, Mr.Hari Kallikat , SDM , SA , Mr. Prem Singh Meena , ACE,Settlement and Mr. Lakshya Singhal , IAS(P) were the Guest of Honour.
Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, DC,SA honoured the awardees with the mementos.
Mr.Mandeep Grewal, President, PBGKR handed over a token of appreciation to the South Andaman Administration team for tirelessly working for the betterment of the society and to provide the islanders with the best support possible.
Mr.Suneel Anchipaka in his speech thanked PBGKR for their contribution to the society during the lockdown by providing 75,000+ meals and distributing 1200+ ration kits to the people across the south andaman area.
Mandeel Grewal quoted “we would serve the islanders whenever needed with the best resources available.”
