Port Blair, Oct 12: Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Deputy Commissioner (SA) distributed the prizes to the winners of various Inter Child Care Institutions (CCI) competitions conducted during Lockdown, among the children of all the CCIs in South Andaman District. The programme hosted by Pranab Kanya Sangh, CCI, Delanipur was conducted on 10/10/2020. The occasion was graced by the presence of SDM (SA), Mr. Hari Kallikkat and Mr. Lakshay Singhal, IAS (Probationer).
Speaking on the occasion DC (SA) informed that all the Child Care Institutions and the respective In-charges are taking proactive steps in protecting from COVID-19 pandemic. He further appealed everyone involved in the welfare of the children in these Institutions to further cooperate and provide necessary assistance for the overall development of children. He appreciated the role of the District Child Protection Unit in conducting various activities during the lockdown like mental health counselling and various competitions for the children to ignite inquisitive mindset and overall personality development.
The In-charge, Pranab Kanya Sanghya, Sanyasini Annandanandamayi proposed vote of thanks and the whole event was hosted by Smti Suparna Biswas, Legal Officer-cum-Probation Officer, DCPU, South Andaman.
