Port Blair, Sep 30: Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC has requested the Chief Engineer, APWD for immediate construction of Primary Health Centre and School building of Teresa Islands on war footing for the welfare of the people.
“The patients, doctors and other staff of PHC are facing acute problems. The School building of Teresa is also in dilapidated condition and it cannot be used for conducting classes, which is causing displeasure amongst the students, teachers and the parents besides hampering of the proper education to the students,” Mr Sharma added.
Further to it, Mr Sharma has requested to take up the construction work of a blacktop road as early as possible, in between Safed Balu and Luxi, as the people of the Teresa islands are suffering very badly.
