Billyground, Aug 02: Once again Mr. SK Debnath SI, incharge Betapur police, Outpost exhibited tremendous amount of dedication towards his duties and came forward to complete last rites of a resident of Panchavati Village during the time of COVID19 pandemic, when there was no one to help the family of the deceased.
Today early in the morning at 6.30 AM a resident of Panchavati Village, Mr. Biswa Pradhan aged 40 yrs passed away, leaving behind his old mother. As during this pandemic period everyone is finding their way for self protection, this old mother was helpless that how she will complete her son’s last rites.
On receipt of information, SI, Mr. S K Debnath, immediately rushed with his police team to the house of the deceased and extended all possible support to complete the last rites of the deceased.
Keeping in view the present pandemic scenario, he did not allow unwanted gathering and his police team carried the body upto the graveyard. Under the leadership of SI, Mr. S.K Debnath the funeral work was completed. People of the region lauded the efforts of SI, Mr. S.K Debnath and his team for reaching out for to the helpless old lady and completing the last rites.
