Port Blair, July 27: The Health Department of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has started to test limited Rapid Test Kits for Rapid Antigen Test and once the Department gets satisfactory results, the Rapid Antigen Test, will be conducted in bigger scale to nderstand the pattern of spread of COVID19 virus. One patient from DC office and one from Prem Nagar were detected COVID19 positive using these Rapid Antigen Test Kits, which were later confirmed by RTPCR tests, insiders told Andaman Sheekha. Till now only 50 such tests have been conducted. The Health Department has got 5000 Rapid Test Kits and 20,000 more might come soon, it is learnt.
