Port Blair, June 21: Villagers, shopkeepers, PRI members of Harinagar Gram Panchayat and Billyground Bazar paid floral tributes to 20 Martyr Army Jawans, who laid down their lives in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley fighting with Chinese soldiers. The villagers organized a procession at Billyground Bazaar against the killing of 20 Indian soldiers. The procession started from the Hariagar Panchayat Bhavan and concluded in front the Old CCS Building. At the end shopkeepers and villagers burnt the effigy of Chinese President and also burnt Chinese products.
On this occasion Mr. Full Mirdha a villager and Pradhan Mr. Uttam Mondal expressed their faith on brave soldiers of India and urged the public to stand with the Government and soldiers and appealed to boycott Chinese goods.
