Port Blair, June 18: Body of one missing police Jawan, Mr. Mohan Rao has been recovered this evening from Little Andaman Island while the Home Guard Jawan Mr. Rajesh could not be found yet.
As per reports, the police Jawan and the Home Guard Jawan had gone missing in sea, during an anti-poaching exercise on Wednesday.
According to reports these two Jawans along with an Assistant Sub- Inspector of Indian Reserve Battalion (IRBn) and a Constable of Andaman and Nicobar Police were on an anti-poaching mission when this incident took place. The incident took place at around 9.00 AM on Wednesday morning.
The Director General of Police, of A &N Islands, Mr. Dependra Pathak today confirmed Andaman Sheekha via message that the body of Police Jawan Mr. Mohan Rao has been found today but Home Guard Jawan Mr. Rajesh still remains missing.
As per details IRBn ASI, who is a Nicobari Youth survived while another Police Jawan Mr. Abdul Aziz survived the accident. The search for one missing Jawans is still on.
