Port Blair, Jan.21: Kala Kendra Society under the Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration will be organizing an evening of festivity on 26th January 2020 at 6 p.m at the Flag Point, Port Blair to celebrate the day with much more passion, pride and enthusiasm.
In order to motivate and involve people of all hues, particularly the youngsters, to connect with the proud history of India’s Freedom Struggle, it has been decided to organize a programme, “Vande Mataram” – patriotic musical programme, poetry based on national integration, communal harmony, brotherhood etc.
Kala Kendra Society has exhorted the islanders and tourists to join the celebration and participate in the function by presenting musical programme and other creative expressions. Interested artist may register their names with Programme Officer over phone no 03192- 231399 before 24th January 2020.
