Port Blair, Dec 15: An alleged drunk driver of a Traveller, under the influence of alcohol ended up busting up a row of parked cars in Dilanipur area yesterday night.
As per reports, the Driver was driving his Force Traveller towards Goalghar from Megapode in a very high speed thus, he lost control over his vehicle in front of the Ganesh Temple and ended up hitting the parked vehicles. It is to be mentioned that Ayappa Puja was going on at the time of accident. As per eye witnesses no one was injured in this incident.
The driver was taken into custody by the staffs of Chatham Police Station and it is learnt that the driver was arrested and an FIR has been registered against him under section 279,184,185.
