Port Blair, Nov 27: A team of Police Station Aberdeen has solved a case of kidnapping and apprehended one person at Gillawla, Uttar Pradesh and recovered the victim girl.
On 09/09/2019, a complaint was received at PS Aberdeen regarding missing of a minor girl and accordingly a case of kidnapping was registered at PS Aberdeen. During the course of investigation, it was revealed that one Deepu Singh S/o Shri. Saberjeet Singh R/o Kamal Basti, Campbell Bay, Nicobar District might have enticed the victim girl to Mainland and his address was ascertained through technical surveillance as Bahraich- Srawastic District, Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Thus, a team comprising SI Mithun Kirtonia, ASI Sanjay Yadav, HC Arvind Kerketta, and PC Mini Tigga under the direction of Inspr. Sanjay Kumar, SHO PS Aberdeen was formed and sent to mainland for apprehending the accused and recovering the victim girl. After extensive search, the team succeeded to locate the accused & victim girl and brought back to Port Blair on 25/11/2019.
The entire operation took place under Ms. Sandhya Swamy, IPS, SDPO South Andaman and under the overall direction and supervision of Shri. Manoj C., IPS, Superintendent of Police, South Andaman District.
