Mayabunder, Nov 07: The residents of North and Middle Andaman are now on cloud nine after the District Commissioner, North and Middle Andaman; Mr Awanish Kumar has confirmed that Kerosene Oil will be available in North and Middle Andaman via private party.
As per reports, in a conversation held with the public of the area, the demand of need of Kerosene oil was raised by the public following which Mr Awanish Kumar keeping in the view of the interest of the public, accepted the demand and requested the license holders of petrol and diesel outlets to obtain permission from the DC office to supply Kerosene Oil in the region.
As per sources, it is learnt that only 3000 liters of Kerosene Oil will be allowed to store by each licensee.
Many a time due to no proper supply of LPG cylinders in the region, public depend upon the Kerosene oil for their livelihood and hence, the decision has brought a big relief for the residents of North and Middle Andaman especially the tea and fast food shop owners are very happy with the decision as this will help them largely to earn their livelyhood.
