Port Blair, Oct 21: On 20/10/2019 an awareness programme was conducted by the District police at Police Station Rangat on new Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Act, 2019 for creating awareness among the vehicle owners and general public. SDPO Rangat, Mr. R.K Sharma was addressed the gathering, who emphasized on important provision of the the amended Motor Vehicle Rules/increase of fine and further requested the gathering to obey the traffic rules as well as follow the traffic signals/signs promptly. The doubts of the general public were addressed promptly. People from various localities of the police station Rangat attended the programme. They appreciated the efforts of police is raising awareness on the issue.
