Port Blair, Sept 04: As part of the Swacchta Pakwada 2019, Mission Jal Sakti Abhiyan, the Indira Gandhi National Open University, Regional Centre, Port Blair is organized a Seminar and awareness programme on “Watershed Development and Management at its premises on 4th September, 2019. IGNOU students, students from other educational institutions and the general public has attended the programme. Dr. (Mrs.) Sirisha Adamala, Scientist, ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair has made a Power Point Presentation and delivered the special lecture on the topic ‘Watershed Development and Management. Other activates under ‘Water Conservation’, like forming Jal Shakthi Team, water conservation activities and Rain Water Harvesting were also discussed in the programme.
