Great Nicobar, Sept 03: Some students of GSSS Vijay Nagar today staged protest infornt of the school demanding adequate number of teachers and expressing anger over delay in posting teachers despite their last strike and assurance given by Administration.
It is learnt that the Education Department had already posted Mathematics and Science teachers for the school and initiated steps to post more teachers for the region and when the order copies were shown to the protesting students, the students withdrew the protest and hence timely action of Education Department prevented another major strike today.
