Baratang, Sep 03: A police Head Constable, Mr. Hari Govind Mallick, posted at Jarawa Protection Post Middle Strait today committed suicide by shooting himself with a Self Loading Rifle (SLR) at JPP outpost. Although the actual reason behind this suicide is yet not known but as per sources he was under some kind of depression. According to sources, he was very good natured and sincere policeman. Police is investigating the matter further.
